Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Montar. By signing in or using the service, you agree to them. If you're using Montar for a team, you agree on that team's behalf. Questions? Email hello@montar.app.
What Montar is
Montar is a unified workspace that brings tasks, notes, and chat together and works alongside your Google Workspace. Using it requires signing in with a Google account.
Early access
Montar is currently offered as an early-access ("beta") product, free of charge for founding teams. During early access the service is provided "as is": features may change, and availability is not guaranteed. We may introduce paid plans in the future and will give founding members notice.
Your account and acceptable use
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google sign-in secure.
- Don't misuse the service — no unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, and no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
- You must have the right to any content you add and to connect any Google data you authorize.
Your content
You keep ownership of the tasks, notes, and messages you create. You grant Montar the limited permission needed to store, display, and sync that content so the service works for you and your workspace. Your handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and disclaimer
We work to keep Montar reliable, but during early access we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Montar is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Montar at any time and request deletion of your data. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if we discontinue the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. We'll update the date above when we make material changes, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
